Mr. Chen, Chang-Chih is the gold prize winner of 2011 R.O.C. National Art Exhibition in photography and the bronze prize winner of PX3 photography competition in professional category. His video of dance performance is the only Asian candidate that shortlisted to the 2015 60secondsance TOP 30.
His major solo exhibitions include "In / Outside the Body " in Spain, "Real Time for Perspective", "Dance Documents", and "In the Name of Poetry". His other major exhibitions are "Original Festival", "Qingshui Land Art Festival", "The Very Fun Park", "Taiwan Photo", " Taipei Poetry Festival", "Lacking Sound Festival", "Artist Fair Taiwan", "Taipei Centennial" among other more than 60 exhibitions and theater video design.
Educated in Department of Fine Arts and Graduate School of Plastic Arts in National Taiwan University of Arts, he was also a commissioner overseeing public arts works in Miaoli County Government for 4 terms. He is a professional artist and has been working with theaters for more than one decade, maintaining a growing file of contemporary performing arts documentation and visual works. With his Landscape Collecting Project, he develops new photography technique: "Relative Perspective".
中華民國百年全國美展攝影類金牌獎得主，並獲頒法國[PX3]國際攝影大賽專業組銅牌獎。其舞蹈錄像為亞洲區唯一入選2015年[60secondsdance]國際舞蹈錄像大賽TOP30。
除了眾多藝術獎項，也有個展或邀請展等超過60檔展演。有西班牙個展【In / Outside the Body】，【實況透視】聲響與裝置個展等。亦曾獲邀參展【原創基地節】、【清水地景藝術節】、【粉樂町】、【台灣攝影藝術博覽會】、【臺北詩歌節電子詩景裝置展】、【失聲祭】、【藝術家博覽會】、【台北百年】等，劇場影像設計有賴翠霜舞創劇場臺灣德國兩版【Blackout】和台北室內合唱團【我愛台灣】等。
出身國立臺灣藝術大學美術系及造形藝術研究所，曾任四屆苗栗縣公共藝術審議委員。他專職藝術創作，並長年與劇場界合作，持續累積表演藝術的影像作品與紀實文件。此外也以地景採集計畫為主軸，為攝影開發新的創作技法－「相對透視」。

Mr. Chen has been working closely with several art groups, including "Horse Dance Company", "Assembly Dance Theatre", "Shu-Yi & (Dancers)", "Scarecrow Contemporary Dance Company", "WCDance", "Lin HH Dance Company", "Body Expression Dance Theater", "Taipei Changer Singers", "Chiuko Traditional Orchestra", "Yu Flute Choir", "Shakespeare’s Wild Sisters Group", "Taipei Puppet Theater", "Taipei Artist Village", "2007 Open-Air International Arts Festival", and he has been collaborating with independent dancers, Mr. HUANG Yi, Ms. LAI Tsui-Shuang just to name a few.
His works have appeared in Performing Arts Review (PAR), National Culture and Arts Foundation Magazine, "Our Life Together is so Precious Together" by Taipei Crossover Dance Company, eRenlai Magazine, Taipei Times, 2011 Centennial Calendar by Government Information Office, the 6th Taishin Arts Awards Book, French Newspaper Vaucluse, China Times, Life Bimonthly, the Big Issue, and publicity and program of the cooperated artists. His stage photography of "The Green Table" is archived in the German Dance Archives (Deutsches Tanzarchiv Köln).
